Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • basic culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
  • ability to follow recipes and food preparation instructions
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety

Job Qualifications

  • culinary degree from an accredited college or university
  • 2 plus years experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • knowledge of health, sanitation and safety regulations
  • ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic setting
  • flexibility to work extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • prepare and coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked in a timely, accurate, consistent and quality manner
  • comply with all established health, sanitation and safety procedures
  • contribute to goal of 100 percent customer satisfaction through personal commitment to teamwork and service
  • perform grill or line cooking responsibilities requiring attention to detail and creativity
  • guide other culinary staff members to maintain high standards in food preparation and sanitation
  • ensure food product quality meets taste and appearance expectations
  • help maximize food revenues through operational excellence
