Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- basic culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
- ability to follow recipes and food preparation instructions
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
Job Qualifications
- culinary degree from an accredited college or university
- 2 plus years experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- knowledge of health, sanitation and safety regulations
- ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic setting
- flexibility to work extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- prepare and coordinate orders to ensure they are cooked in a timely, accurate, consistent and quality manner
- comply with all established health, sanitation and safety procedures
- contribute to goal of 100 percent customer satisfaction through personal commitment to teamwork and service
- perform grill or line cooking responsibilities requiring attention to detail and creativity
- guide other culinary staff members to maintain high standards in food preparation and sanitation
- ensure food product quality meets taste and appearance expectations
