The Line Cook I position at Ballast Point's Little Italy location is crucial in supporting the culinary success of their kitchens. This role involves accurately and efficiently cooking a variety of menu items including meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products. Additionally, the Line Cook I prepares and portions ingredients before cooking, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. This position is a key contributor to keeping the kitchen environment clean, safe, and well-organized. As part of a fast-paced, high-volume operation, the Line Cook I must demonstrate flexibility by taking on culinary tasks as they arise and working cooperatively within the team. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years kitchen experience
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain
