Job Requirements

  • Previous cooking experience required a minimum of 3 years in a similar position preferred
  • Culinary or apprenticeship program preferred
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Sufficient manual dexterity of hand in order to use all kitchen equipment ie knives spoons spatulas tongs slicers etc
  • Ability to lift push or pull weights up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods work in a confined space with high levels of noise and frequent interruptions and perform duties within extreme temperature ranges
  • Ability to obtain any local state or federal license or certification for sanitation liquor service or food service certification

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to use kitchen equipment such as knives spoons spatulas tongs and slicers
  • Ability to perform duties within extreme temperature ranges and in a noisy environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare station-specific food items according to recipes ensuring consistency and quality
  • Monitor product storage portion sizes and special items like stocks and sauces
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas to meet health department regulations
  • Ensure equipment is clean sanitized and operational
  • Uphold high standards of food production and presentation
  • Maintain personal hygiene and sanitation practices
  • Manage station setup breakdown and prep work
  • Follow recipe specifications for all food preparation
