This distinguished restaurant operates within the former residence of fashion legend Gianni Versace, offering guests an exquisite culinary experience marked by elegance, sophistication, and the highest standards of service. We are currently seeking an experienced Line Cook for our Hot Line/Cocina Caliente station to join our team. This position is full-time and caters to a fast-paced, demanding kitchen environment that serves powerful fine dining experiences to a high volume of guests, sometimes reaching 500 to 800 covers in a single evening. This role requires a cook who can efficiently manage the pressure of such a busy service while delivering dishes with impeccable precision, speed, and consistency. It is important to note that this is not an entry-level position; we require someone with solid experience and the ability to execute multiple tasks skillfully under intense conditions. The selected candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining their designated station, which may involve grilling, sautéing, frying, or other hot-line techniques, and consistently producing menu items that meet the established culinary standards. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members for prep production, maintaining a spotless and organized workstation, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols, and communicating effectively to ensure seamless kitchen operations. The role also involves participating in special events such as large banquets and VIP dinners, which demands adaptability and a professional demeanor. Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of line cook experience in fine dining or high-volume environments
- Ability to work fast, clean, and organized during heavy service
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques including searing, sautéing, grilling, frying, and roasting
- Ability to handle high-pressure, high-ticket environments
- Punctual, reliable, and professional
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Set up and maintain the hot line station including grill, sauté, fry, or assigned station
- Cook menu items to order with full consistency, accuracy, and speed
- Execute sauces, proteins, vegetables, and sides following established standards
- Read tickets quickly and work clean under pressure during intense service
- Assist in prep production, batch cooking, and organization for high-volume service
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation at all times
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and FIFO standards
- Communicate effectively with the culinary team to ensure smooth service
- Assist with large banquets, events, and VIP dinners
