Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or provide proof of work permit
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30 pounds regularly
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends based on business needs
- Food Handler Certification
- Minimum 6-12 months culinary or kitchen experience
- Clear communication skills
- Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation procedures

Job Duties
- Work closely with the culinary team and support overall café operations
- Maintain full understanding and knowledge of the Erewhon brand and café menu
- Assist in preparing and cooking various food items in compliance with quality standards and portions
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as directed by the Culinary Manager
- Complete end-of-day inventory and other opening/closing duties according to company checklists
- Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, equipment, and coolers
- Assist the Culinary Team with incoming orders and store them accordingly
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely
- Follow proper knife safety procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
