Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous kitchen or cooking experience is a plus
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to Talkin' Tacos recipes, portions, and quality standards
Execute food with speed, consistency, and attention to detail during high-volume service
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station throughout the shift
Communicate clearly with kitchen teammates to keep service flowing
Assist with prep, inventory rotation, and proper food storage to reduce waste and protect freshness
Support new menu rollouts, features, and specials as needed
Step up to help teammates and keep the kitchen running strong during busy periods
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-driven kitchen culture
