Whether patrons are seeking a casual meal, craft beverages, or a lively gathering spot, Standard Beer + Food delivers consistently high standards and a unique culinary experience.

The role we are hiring for is a Line Cook position, offering an hourly wage between $18 and $25 per hour with flexible scheduling options. In addition to competitive pay, this role guarantees holidays off on Christmas Eve, Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's Day, the 4th of July, and Super Bowl Sunday, which enhances work-life balance for our kitchen team members.

Line Cooks at Standard Beer + Food play an integral role in the kitchen by preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position demands a strong passion for food and an excellent attention to detail, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen and service staff. The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere and holds themselves to high standards of culinary excellence. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients according to recipe specifications set by the executive chef, maintaining food safety and quality standards, and cooking menu items across different stations such as grill, garde manger, saute, and fry.

Beyond cooking and food prep duties, the Line Cook is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following food safety regulations, and supporting inventory management by reporting low stock levels and participating in inventory counts. Effective communication with the kitchen manager and other team members is essential to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent guest experiences. Flexibility is important, as the role may require adapting to menu changes or special guest requests, as well as assisting with special event preparations.

This position suits those who are passionate about the culinary field and motivated by providing high-quality guest experiences. It is designed for individuals who possess strong teamwork skills, are self-motivated, and eager to grow and learn within the culinary industry. If you are a dedicated cook looking for a role that values skill, creativity, and collaboration, Standard Beer + Food offers a vibrant and supportive environment to advance your culinary career while contributing to a beloved community establishment.
