Job Requirements

- At least one year of kitchen experience preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Know and understand every item on the menu including portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules
- Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Work closely with the chef to provide absolute consistency on every plate
- Work on timing to get every ticket out in an appropriate amount of time
- Communicate consistently with co-workers during prime service hours
- See who else may need help with prepping and getting ready when your station is ready
- Keep your workstation clean and stocked
- Practice safe knife handling and seek training if needed
- Assist in putting away deliveries when needed
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Respect each co-worker including front of house
- Look for ways to be productive in spare time
- Open and close the kitchen properly following checklists and assist others in closing
- Report co-worker problems to management
- Arrive promptly in full uniform for shifts and meetings
- Submit days off requests 2 weeks in advance for manager approval
- Follow employee handbook policies
- Maintain a positive attitude and have fun at work
