Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 35 lbs or more
- reach up to seven feet
- bend and squat
- stand and walk for entire length of the shift
- work in moderate to high noise levels
- manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids
- operate kitchen equipment
- no high school diploma or GED required
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house food service position
- ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
- basic math skills
- strong communication and teamwork abilities
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Duties
- Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
- ensure proper food temperatures are maintained
- store food correctly
- maintain freshness and quality of all menu items
- package all products to proper specifications
- prepare a variety of foods including ballpark classics and more refined dishes
- keep workstations, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
- use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
- perform opening, closing, and side work duties
- conduct end-of-day inventory
