Battle House Hotel and Spa is a distinguished luxury hotel that combines historic charm with modern comforts to provide guests with an exceptional hospitality experience. Located in a vibrant setting, this hotel is part of the renowned Marriott family and the PCH Hotels & Resorts portfolio, offering a premium blend of elegance, comfort, and impeccable service. Known for its stunning environment and top-tier amenities, the Battle House Hotel and Spa stands as a premier destination for travelers seeking sophistication and a memorable stay. The property features elegant guest rooms, upscale dining outlets, a relaxing spa, and event spaces designed to accommodate both leisure and business travelers. With a reputation for excellence, Battle House Hotel and Spa is committed to delivering unparalleled service that reflects its identity as a luxury hotel brand focused on guest satisfaction and creating lasting impressions.

Joining the Battle House Hotel and Spa team means becoming part of a passionate and dedicated group focused on upholding the highest standards of hospitality. We are currently seeking dynamic and results-driven individuals to fill the role of Line Cook. This position plays a pivotal role in our culinary operations, preparing, seasoning, and cooking a wide variety of dishes across our hotel's restaurant outlets, pastry kitchen, and banquet kitchen. You will work closely with culinary supervisors and chefs to ensure that every dish served meets the hotel's exacting standards for quality, taste, and presentation.

As a Line Cook, your responsibilities include following detailed recipes and using accurate portion control to maintain consistency and guest satisfaction. You will be an integral part of daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food preparation areas and equipment are clean and well-maintained. This role demands a strong commitment to hygiene and safety, abiding by food safety regulations and the hotel's sanitation policies. A significant aspect of the position involves monitoring the taste, smell, and appearance of dishes before service to ensure only the highest quality food reaches our guests.

Attention to detail is crucial, as is your ability to work efficiently under pressure during service times while maintaining proper food handling practices to minimize waste and control food costs. In addition to cooking, you will help with setting up the workstation, managing inventory, and keeping accurate records of production usage and leftovers. Teamwork and positive collaboration with the department and wider hotel staff are essential to foster a seamless and productive work environment.

Battle House Hotel and Spa offers competitive compensation and a robust benefits package designed to support the health, well-being, and professional growth of our employees. Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans with FSA and HSA options, short and long-term disability coverage, paid holidays, vacations, PTO and sick leave, 401k with company matching, tuition reimbursement, as well as discounts on hotel stays and food and beverage. By becoming part of our team, you embark on a career path that encourages skill development and advancement within an esteemed hospitality organization dedicated to excellence and guest satisfaction.
