Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of cook-to-order experience
- Must be able to work some weekends and holidays
- Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers
- Compliance with applicable state regulations and requirements
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of cook-to-order experience
- Ability to work some weekends and holidays
- Strong culinary skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Prepare meals and menu items consistently following proper safety and cooking techniques
- Ensure accurate portioning, plating, temperature, and presentation of meals
- Utilize culinary skills to create high-quality dishes enhancing resident satisfaction
- Keep kitchen and workstation clean and sanitized at all times
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain smooth operations
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures
