The role of a Line Cook at Hilton plays a vital part in the hotel's culinary operations, focusing on preparing, maintaining, and monitoring the quality of hot food items to ensure outstanding service and financial profitability. The Line Cook is responsible primarily for cooking various hot dishes, including meats, seafood, poultry, sauces, stocks, and seasonings, strictly adhering to designated recipes and quality standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role

Job Duties
- Prepare, maintain and monitor quality control for hot food items including meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks and seasonings
- Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Prepare guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
- Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen and ensure plates are clean and appetizing
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
