This Line Cook position is a back-of-house role primarily focused on supporting daily kitchen operations with an emphasis on consistency, efficiency, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The role involves direct participation in the preparation and production of our vegan and gluten-free baked goods. As part of a small, dedicated team, the Line Cook will play an integral role in executing daily production tasks, including ingredient preparation, portioning, finishing, packaging, and sanitation. This position is initially temporary through mid-June, providing an opportunity for growth into a permanent role based on performance and business needs. The role is part-time, with scheduled shifts from Tuesday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, offering competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.00 to $18.00. This role is perfect for someone passionate about healthy, sustainable food production and looking to gain valuable experience in a niche bakery environment while working collaboratively in a supportive team setting.

Job Requirements

  • Food handler certification required
  • Availability to work Tuesday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Job Qualifications

  • Previous back-of-house experience in a commercial kitchen required

Job Duties

  • Wash and maintain dish flow throughout production
  • Assist with blending and preparing ingredients
  • Scale and measure ingredients with precision according to standardized recipes
  • Scoop and portion cookie dough
  • Cut, spread, and glaze baked goods
  • Package and label finished products
  • Support general production and kitchen organization
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
