Job Description
The Brass Tap is a leading craft beer chain known for its best-in-class craft beer lineup and chef-inspired food that raises the bar on traditional bar food. This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee ensuring a unique, community-focused atmosphere and personalized guest experience. At The Brass Tap, success is driven by passionate team members who bring energy and dedication every day, creating a memorable environment that keeps guests coming back repeatedly. With a strong emphasis on quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction, The Brass Tap prides itself on being a vibrant workplace where employees can grow and thrive within the hospitality industry.
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated kitchen team member for a part-time position, offering 20-25 hours per week, specifically covering Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The shift schedule aligns with the restaurant's closing hours, which are 7 pm on Sundays, and there are opportunities to work additional hours during vacations and special events. The key responsibility of this role is to provide expo support, which includes plating menu items such as wraps, flatbreads, salads, and more. Kitchen team members will be actively involved in prepping, cooking, and plating The Brass Tap's menu items accurately by following recipe procedures.
This role demands following strict food safety guidelines related to cooking, cooling, and storage, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and keeping all kitchen equipment clean and well-organized. Team members should be able to complete duties independently without constant supervision, demonstrating responsibility and teamwork. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, reflecting the skill and effort expected from the kitchen team member. The company values diversity and inclusivity, welcoming Spanish-speaking applicants and ensuring accessible communication.
The Brass Tap offers a consistent work schedule and valuable employee benefits including vacation pay after one year, employee discounts, free uniforms, and paid time off. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced culinary environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality food alongside exemplary customer service. The position involves physical activity such as continuous standing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds, and exposure to the kitchen environment heat, so candidates should be prepared for an active role in a dynamic workplace. Join The Brass Tap team and be part of a culture that values its people, promotes growth, and delivers an exceptional dining experience every day.
