The Line Cook position at Bar Max is a key role within the kitchen team, tailored for individuals with a passion for cooking in a fast-paced, demanding, and collaborative environment. This role requires availability from Tuesday to Saturday evenings to support lunch and dinner services across multiple kitchen stations such as grill, sauté, and pantry. Job Requirements
- Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday evening shifts
- Proven experience as a line cook (1-2 years)
- Previous experience in a fine-dining or upscale casual kitchen environment preferred
- Strong knife skills
- Ability to follow recipes and plating standards accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Execute prep and line work for lunch and dinner service across multiple stations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times
- Consistently follow recipes, plating specifications, and quality standards
- Work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and fellow cooks to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Assist with daily prep tasks such as chopping, butchering, and sauce preparation
- Ensure proper rotation and storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste
