Nestled in a prime location, the hotel combines comfort, luxury, and outstanding service to cater to both leisure and business travelers. The kitchen team plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our food service. We focus on quality, consistency, and innovation, which would be at the heart of the role we are hiring for. The position is ideal for culinary professionals who thrive in a bustling kitchen environment and are passionate about food preparation and teamwork.
We are looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing all menu items according to precise recipes and yield guides to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served. The Line Cook will collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and other kitchen staff to review daily assignments, anticipate business levels, and adapt to changes efficiently. The Line Cook is responsible for setting up and breaking down their workstation, ensuring that all mise en place, tools, equipment, and supplies are prepared and organized. Maintaining proper food storage and handling procedures is critical to comply with Health Department standards and hotel policies. The role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the capability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive team attitude. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our guests.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of three years’ experience as a Line Cook within a hotel, resort, or restaurant environment and holds current food handling certification. We value individuals who demonstrate a high work ethic, self-initiative, and a passion for teamwork, contributing positively to the kitchen culture and guest experience.
