Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • previous experience cooking in a restaurant environment preferred
  • must complete Serve-Safe program after hire
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work in a scratch kitchen
  • strong verbal communication skills and customer service-related skills
  • ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders including employees and the general public
  • ability to speak and write clearly, concisely and persuasively using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization
  • ability to work cooperatively with others
  • ability to perform with considerable independence and initiative
  • must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepares quality food according to standardized recipes
  • maintains a clean, safe facility that falls in line with local Health Department regulations
  • adheres to portions and preparation guidelines for cost effectiveness
  • reviews and adheres to schedule
  • takes care of guests needs and food orders/specifications with immediacy and accuracy
  • ensures compliance with Health Department codes and regulations
