- able to prepare food per food handlers guidelines
- able to stand for majority of work shift
- able to communicate with supervisors and kitchen staff
- knowledge of and ability to use standard commercial kitchen equipment
- ability to maintain movement bend lift and carry 50 lbs
- ability to work in fast-paced environment and near hot surfaces

Job Qualifications
- minimum three years training as a cook or equivalent work experience
- working knowledge of basic culinary techniques including fry steam sauté broil deep fry and bake

Job Duties
- prepares workstation before the start of each service making sure that all the supplies needed are available and ready
- preps food for service including chopping vegetables butchering meat preparing sauces
- cooks items requested ensuring food is ready at the right time order and temperature
- cleans station and assists with kitchen cleanup including disposing garbage cleaning utensils pots and pans cleaning cooking surfaces
- takes care of leftover food maintaining food safety and club standards by proper storage disposal or returning to inventory
- stocks kitchen including assisting unloading delivery trucks storing inventory reporting low inventory
- complies with OSHA and safety requirements
- communicates with supervisors and kitchen staff
- maintains movement bend lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- works in fast-paced environment and near hot surfaces
