Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a full service restaurant kitchen preferably in a resort or club environment with progressive culinary responsibilities
- Good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high stress levels during service hours
- Ability to carry trays, boxes and miscellaneous items of up to 50 pounds
- Moderate strength and physical fitness
- Ability to perform repeated bending, stooping, reaching
- Normal range of hearing and vision
- Ability to remain on feet for extended periods
- Ability to function professionally in a challenging and demanding environment
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a full service restaurant kitchen preferably in a resort or club environment with progressive culinary responsibilities
- Good communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of all food service equipment and cutlery
Job Duties
- Lead by example and promote Seabrook Core Values, Characteristics, Employee Constitution and Decision Making
- Maintain a high degree of cleanliness throughout the work area including reach-in and walk-in boxes
- Prepare all major food items according to company recipe cards and specifications
- Assist all kitchen associates in service and pre-food preparation
- Assist as to the deposition of left over food items
- Check supplies of needed food items and notify manager of any shortages
- Check with preparation cooks on all soups, roasts, vegetables, mixtures and entrees for restaurant services
- Adhere to and assist other associates in maintaining proper food safety, sanitation, and accident prevention
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
