We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed team members to join our growing company in various kitchen roles within our restaurants. This position is perfectly suited for individuals who are looking to thrive in a daytime-only schedule, offering nighttime pay while working during daylight hours. Because our restaurants close daily at 3 p.m., employees enjoy a unique work-life advantage. The role involves handling multiple facets of kitchen operation, from food preparation to cooking and maintaining sanitation standards, all in accordance with Turning Point and Health Department guidelines. Whether you are prepping ingredients, cooking, cleaning, or learning different kitchen stations, you will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support, including assistance for both English and Spanish speakers. As part of our team, you will not be 'thrown into the fire' but will be guided step by step to ensure your success.

The responsibilities for this position encompass proper food handling and storage, preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking, accurately and efficiently cooking food, and following all recipes, portions, and safety protocols consistently. Employees are expected to be versatile, working across cooking stations, food prep, and dishwashing tasks, contributing actively to the smooth operation of each restaurant. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work during daytime shifts
  • Basic proficiency in English or Spanish for understanding recipes and safety guidelines
  • Physical capability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to learn all kitchen roles and follow health and safety regulations
  • Commitment to teamwork and positive work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
  • Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
  • Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
  • Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility

Job Duties

  • Proper food handling and storage
  • Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
  • Accurately and efficiently cooking food
  • Ability to read in English or Español and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and Health Department guidelines
  • Learn and work in all kitchen areas including cooking stations, food prep, and dishwashing positions
  • Support the team by performing tasks as requested by management
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
