Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work daytime shifts only
- willingness to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to read and understand instructions in English or Espa ol
- physical ability to stand, lift, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
- skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
- able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
- ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility
Job Duties
- Proper food handling and storage
- preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
- accurately and efficiently cooking food
- ability to read in English or Espa ol and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to The Turning Point and Health Department guidelines
- learn and work in all kitchen areas including the three cooking stations, food prep and dishwashing positions
- follow management’s instructions and work collaboratively with the team
