The role of the Frontline Team Member, also known as the 'Pizza Slinger' and 'People Pro,' is crucial to maintaining the lively and engaging atmosphere that MOZZ Artisan Pizza is proud of. This hybrid position combines culinary skills with customer service, requiring candidates to be versatile, energetic, and personable. As a frontline team member, you will not only be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas but also for providing top-notch service, engaging with guests, and ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied. In this role, you will be slinging pies, chatting up guests, and keeping the vibe upbeat from the pizza line to the front counter. You will take and process orders with accuracy and a friendly demeanor, assist guests in choosing their perfect pizza, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and front of house areas. Additionally, you will develop knowledge about the restaurant's beer and wine offerings and confidently serve these alongside food. The position includes responsibilities for food safety and sanitation, as well as participating in opening and closing duties as needed.
MOZZ Artisan Pizza values team players who are quick on their feet, communicate well, and perform well under pressure. The ideal candidate is 21 years or older, as this allows for legal alcohol service in Utah, and either has or is willing to obtain the necessary food handler and alcohol service permits. While kitchen experience is a plus, thorough training is provided to the right candidate who shows enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.

Job Requirements
- 21 years or older
- Valid Utah food handler permit or willing to obtain
- Valid Utah alcohol service permit or willing to obtain
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Team-oriented mindset
Job Qualifications
- Comfortable talking with customers and keeping energy high
- Kitchen experience is a plus but not required
- Solid food safety and cooking know-how
- Quick on your feet and cool under pressure
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Valid Utah food handler and alcohol service permits or willing to get them
- 21 years or older to legally serve alcohol in Utah
Job Duties
- Welcoming guests and helping them find their perfect pie
- Taking and processing orders accurately and with a smile
- Prepping toppings, tossing dough, and cooking pizzas like a pro
- Learning about our beer and wine selections and serving up food, beer, and wine with confidence
- Keeping your space clean, stocked, and running smooth
- Handling customer questions and making things right if something goes sideways
- Working together with your team to keep things running smoothly
- Following food safety and sanitation standards
- Jumping in on opening and closing duties when needed
