The Line Cook position at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is a crucial role within the Food and Beverage Department, specifically designed for the winter season as a full-time, seasonal opportunity. Line cooks will work across multiple casual and quick-service locations including Tram Dock, Off-Piste Market, Rendezvous Alpine Kitchen, and Casper Restaurant. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts and who thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. The primary responsibility of the Line Cook is to prepare and execute food items following established recipes and prep lists while adhering strictly to all safety and sanitation guidelines. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to safely operate kitchen equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work full-time during the winter season

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes, prep lists, and instructions provided by supervisors
  • Prepare ingredients and execute basic food preparation tasks safely
  • Maintain proper mise en place throughout shifts
  • Safely operate kitchen equipment including knives, mandolins, slicers, blenders, and other tools
  • Adhere to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Teton County Health Department sanitation and handwashing policies
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and food safety
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Interact with and serve guests as needed
  • Report safety concerns or operational issues to management promptly
  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a high level of guest service
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
  • Arrive on time and in proper uniform, including appropriate footwear, for each shift
