Delaware North Sportservice is currently seeking seasonal Line Cooks to join its team at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds or more
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days
  • Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
  • Willingness to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Basic math skills

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to understand recipes and food abbreviations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to follow procedures, take directions, and work in a team environment
  • Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation setting preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Food safety knowledge

Job Duties

  • Follow assignments for opening and closing procedures as well as food production
  • Prepare food and beverage products following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques and sanitation guidelines
  • Set up and operate kitchen equipment
  • Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked
  • Coordinate multiple orders rapidly and efficiently
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in food preparation
  • Assist team members as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
