Currently, Delaware North's Patina Group is seeking full-time and part-time Line Cooks for their distinguished restaurants Centrico and Tiendita located in Anaheim, California. Centrico, crafted in partnership with Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán, is celebrated for its modern Mexican cuisine, blending bold flavors with inventive techniques to honor Mexico's rich culinary heritage. The vibrant atmosphere and creative menu make Centrico a unique dining destination where every meal is a celebration.

The Line Cook position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation and culinary arts to join a dynamic, supportive team in prestigious venues. The role involves preparing dishes according to recipe and chef specifications with keen attention to detail, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met at all times. At a competitive hourly wage of $22.00, Line Cooks will engage in a variety of kitchen operations including prepping ingredients, cooking, portioning, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to waste control procedures. This position requires physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a prep cook or line cook
  • Ability to prioritize and complete food orders with speed and precision
  • Ability to follow procedures and take directions
  • Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions
  • No high school diploma or GED required

Job Duties

  • Properly measure, portion, and cook all food items promptly
  • Ensure that correct food temperatures are maintained, and food is stored safely
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties according to proper guidelines
  • Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked
  • Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
