The Heart of House team at Chili's, commonly referred to as the Kitchen Team Members, are an essential part of the operation. These team members are responsible for maintaining a steady pace in the kitchen during every shift to ensure fast and dependable service consistent with Chili's standards. The role demands efficiency, teamwork, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. As a Kitchen Team Member, one plays a critical role in ensuring that all food orders flow smoothly from the kitchen to the guests, contributing directly to the hospitality reputation Chili's is known for.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible part-time or full-time shifts
  • Prior experience in food preparation or related role preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must follow health and safety regulations
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to learn and execute recipe procedures accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members
  • Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc.
  • Prior experience preferred in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Job Duties

  • Properly learn and execute all of our recipe procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen
  • Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Communicate ticket times to Team Members
  • Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
