Job Description

Brooklyn Bowl Nashville is a unique entertainment venue that combines the excitement of live music, bowling, and exceptional dining into one unforgettable experience. Located in the heart of Nashville, this innovative establishment is well-known for integrating premier music performances with 19 bowling lanes, a well-curated bar featuring locally crafted beers, and food offerings by the acclaimed Blue Ribbon restaurant group. Brooklyn Bowl Nashville caters to a diverse clientele looking for an exciting night out that blends entertainment, sport, and gastronomy seamlessly. The venue is vibrant and dynamic, attracting locals and visitors who want to enjoy quality music shows and fun activities in a lively atmosphere. It is a place where community, art, and food culture converge to create memorable moments.

The Line Cook role at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville is essential in delivering a high-quality culinary experience that complements the venue's energetic environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for reviewing menus and preparing food according to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen is up to specification in presentation, quality, and timing. Your work will be crucial in maintaining compliance with company food procedures along with local, state, and federal health codes and regulations to ensure food safety and sanitation. Collaboration with other departments is key to syncing food service with the venue's fast-paced schedule and exciting events.

This position offers a starting pay of $20 per hour and operates primarily during scheduled shows and events, with peak demand in the evenings when shifts typically start around 4 pm. Due to the nature of live entertainment, work hours can vary and are dependent on operational demands, meaning schedules might fluctuate with slower periods during the year. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible evening shifts that can accommodate other commitments. Brooklyn Bowl Nashville values professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude among its staff, particularly because kitchen duties directly impact the guest experience.

Working as a Line Cook at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville means becoming part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where attention to detail in food preparation and a commitment to safety and sanitation are paramount. You will take direction from the executive chef, stock inventory thoughtfully, and coordinate food delivery so all dishes are served simultaneously, maintaining a smooth flow of service. The job requires acquiring familiarity with both the current menu and new items, mastering the methods of prep, and employing precise plating techniques in line with the venue’s culinary standards.

This opportunity comes with the chance to grow your skills in a prominent entertainment and dining establishment, surrounded by creative professionals passionate about music and food. If you are enthusiastic about food quality, dedicated to great customer service, and flexible with scheduling to meet operational needs, Brooklyn Bowl Nashville offers an exciting and rewarding work environment that can enhance your culinary career.
