Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ years experience in a fine dining or upscale casual environment
- Proficiency in English
- Flexibility to work any shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to grasp, lift, and carry goods weighing up to 50 lbs
- Pre-employment drug test and background check required
- Ability to maintain a courteous demeanor in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ years experience in a fine dining or upscale casual environment
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in English
- Strong organizational skills including follow-up, time management, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to positively communicate and interact with all hotel departments
Job Duties
- Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality and customer service expected by guests
- Follow recipes, directions, and cook menu items in cooperation within a team environment under the direction of Restaurant Management
- Complete the setup and breakdown of a section, including detailed cleaning of the work area and surrounding areas
- Maintain the food quality to the Chef's standards and ensure a consistent product each time
- Explain menu items to Front of House team members, understand allergy concerns, and answer general inquiries
- Maintain accurate knowledge of all menu items and beverage programs
- Be a team player and assist others when and where necessary to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
