This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the culinary arts. The Cook will work closely with the culinary leadership to produce and fabricate food for various dining experiences, including the kitchen, cafeteria, banquet services, and fine dining.

This full-time position demands creativity, motivation, and a strong desire to expand culinary skills while collaborating with experienced professionals. The successful candidate will develop expertise in various cooking methods such as grilling, sautéing, and frying; gain hands-on experience with kitchen tools and knife skills; consistently prepare high-quality food; and learn to minimize waste by efficient use of ingredients. The role includes maintaining proper workstation setups and cleanliness, ensuring ingredient quality, and upholding stringent food storage standards.

Job Duties

  • develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté and fry)
  • experience using knives and various kitchen equipment
  • recreate recipes consistently
  • maintain consistency in all food preparation
  • minimize food waste through cross utilization
  • work with a world class culinary team
  • create workstations equipped with necessary ingredients and cooking tools
  • prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat)
  • keep a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
  • ensure proper storage of food and items
  • oversee the quality of ingredients
