The culinary team at Esplanade Madeira Ranch is expanding, and we are currently seeking passionate Line Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen staff. This role is essential in bringing the resort's dining vision to life, particularly as we prepare for the grand opening of our private restaurant and bar. The Line Cook position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with an Executive Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality hospitality environment where attention to detail and culinary craftsmanship are paramount. Candidates will be involved in executing a wide variety of tasks from food preparation to maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring optimal inventory practices.
As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. You will prepare food in accordance with production plans, minimize waste by efficiently utilizing whole food products, and be responsible for proper storage, rotation, and sanitation of food items. The restaurant team values teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to safety and quality, offering an environment that encourages professional growth and skill development. Weekend availability is required, reflecting the hospitality industry's rhythm and the community's active social calendar.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job

Job Duties
- Prepares sufficient quantities of food product in accordance with production plan or forecast needs
- Utilizes whole food products eliminating any waste
- Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas
- Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner
- Requisitions inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production
- Ensures proper storage of food items, wraps, dates, and rotates food items
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
