The role currently available at Esplanade Madeira Ranch is for a Line Cook position within the Culinary Team. The Line Cook position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $26.00 based on experience, plus the opportunity to earn tips. The role requires dedication, teamwork, and an eagerness to grow professionally within a hospitality-driven setting. Weekend availability is mandatory, reflecting the community’s commitment to continuous service excellence.

Candidates will work closely with the Executive Chef and the culinary team to ensure all food preparation aligns with the highest standards of quality and safety. Attention to detail, pride in culinary craftsmanship, and the ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas are essential. The role also includes managing inventory efficiently, minimizing food waste by using whole food products, and ensuring proper food storage methods.

Job Duties

  • Prepares sufficient quantities of food product in accordance with production plan or forecast needs
  • Utilizes whole food products eliminating any waste
  • Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas
  • Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner
  • Requisitions inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production
  • Ensures proper storage of food items, wraps, dates, and rotates food items
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Performs other duties as required
