Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year experience as a cook in a restaurant or resort kitchen
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- must comply with drug-free workplace policies
Job Qualifications
- food preparation and cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication skills
- teamwork and collaboration
- culinary education or certification is a plus
Job Duties
- prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
- follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- work collaboratively with kitchen team to ensure timely food service
- assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- help train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- comply with all health and safety regulations
