Job Description

Nook is a renowned dining establishment located in the vibrant downtown area of Tucson, Arizona. Known for its innovative culinary approach and commitment to high-quality ingredients, Nook has established itself as a beloved destination for both locals and visitors seeking an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant prides itself on fostering a welcoming atmosphere combined with superior service and a menu that celebrates fresh, local produce and creative flavors. As a part of the Tucson dining scene, Nook continues to grow its reputation with a loyal customer base that appreciates its dedication to food, hospitality, and community engagement.

We are currently seeking to add a highly motivated line cook to our strong kitchen team. We have openings for one part-time and one full-time position. The ideal candidates will be self-starters who demonstrate punctuality and reliability at all times. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about food, service, and the dynamic environment of a busy kitchen. As a line cook at Nook, you will play a vital role in setting up and stocking your station, preparing ingredients such as chopping vegetables and making sauces, and cooking menu items in close cooperation with your fellow kitchen staff. You will also be responsible for cleaning up your station, managing leftover food responsibly, and ensuring that all inventory is properly stocked and organized.

The position demands strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs of others in the kitchen, contributing proactively to a smooth and efficient workflow. At Nook, we are committed to hiring only the best culinary professionals in Tucson — individuals who are dedicated to their craft and eager to contribute to an outstanding guest experience. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced cooks and those looking to deepen their expertise in a fast-paced, supportive setting. We value teamwork, passion, and a proactive approach to kitchen duties.
