The role of a Line Cook at Doc's is essential to our kitchen's success. We are looking for upbeat and hardworking individuals who are passionate about food production and take pride in their craft. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for managing one or more hot line stations in a fast-paced kitchen setting. This position requires you to prepare and produce food consistently according to established recipes and plating specifications to maintain quality and presentation standards. Attention to detail is critical, as is a commitment to food safety and proper handling practices. You will also be tasked with maintaining cleanliness and organization of your workstation to ensure a sanitary environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a lively culinary team where your contributions directly impact the dining experience of our patrons. Compensation includes participation in our tip pool that can add an additional $3 to $7 per hour on top of your base wage, reflecting our appreciation for your hard work. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a line cook role
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- good hand-eye coordination
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
