The resort is a vibrant community that attracts not only guests from around the world but also employees who share a passion for the outdoors and adventurous lifestyle. The resort prides itself on fostering a dynamic and friendly work environment that values diversity and inclusion, with commitments to non-discrimination and equal opportunity for all applicants.

The Line Cook position at SeventyOne, a restaurant located inside the Cliff Lodge at Snowbird, is a full-time, year-round role offering a competitive hourly wage of $21.00 per hour. This role is essential to the culinary team, requiring an individual who is reliable, dedicated, and passionate about food preparation and kitchen excellence. As a Line Cook at SeventyOne, you will be entrusted with preparing food to the highest standards by adhering to established recipes and operational procedures set by the Executive Chef. The schedule includes day and evening shifts, five days per week, with availability required on weekends and holidays. Occasionally, the position may require staying overnight due to road closures, highlighting the need for flexibility and adaptability.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have one to two years of experience in a similar culinary role with demonstrated competency. Essential certifications such as a Food Handler Permit are required, along with a thorough understanding of kitchen safety, food handling, and sanitation guidelines. Physical stamina is necessary to meet the demands of the job, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds. Beyond the technical skills, Snowbird values a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where multitasking and listening skills are critical.

Working at Snowbird means becoming part of a team that respects and supports its members. The resort offers excellent benefits including ski passes, complimentary tickets, and discounts at eateries, retail shops, mountain school, lodging, and daycare facilities. Employees may also access medical, dental, vision, and accident insurance benefits depending on their position, as well as a 401(k) plan. Convenient transportation options to and from work are provided including UTA Bus, rideshare vans, and employee blue shuttles. Snowbird’s culture encourages growth, ongoing training, and professional development, making it an outstanding place to build a rewarding career in the hospitality industry.
