Job Description

Providence Hospitality Partners, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, was established in 2002 with a clear mission to operate hotels where every guest wants to stay, every associate wants to work, and every investor wants to own. As a dynamic hospitality company, Providence Hospitality Partners prides itself on fostering a corporate culture that values teamwork, a strong work ethic, exceptional service to others, and a healthy personal balance among its associates. The company invests in supporting its team members to achieve clearly defined objectives, promoting personal and professional growth. Additionally, Providence Hospitality Partners takes a proactive stance in enhancing the well-being of the communities it serves, making it not only a place of employment but also a socially responsible organization that strives to make a positive impact beyond its walls.

The Line Cook role at Providence Hospitality Partners is a vital position within the culinary team, responsible for preparing and cooking food according to menu specifications while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role includes significant involvement in the Catering department, where food preparation for large groups, sometimes serving hundreds of guests, is a common occurrence. The position demands precision in cooking exactly the number of items ordered, managing multiple orders simultaneously, and maintaining sanitation and safety in food preparation and cooking areas.

A successful candidate in this role will have a strong background in high-volume cooking environments, demonstrating the ability to operate commercial cooking equipment proficiently. Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential aspects of this role. The Line Cook must measure ingredients accurately, verify the quality and quantity of prepared foods, and maintain workstations in a clean and well-stocked condition. Physical demands of standing, walking, bending, and lifting items up to 25 pounds, along with handling exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels, require stamina and resilience. This full-time role offers a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, and retirement benefits, making it an attractive opportunity for culinary professionals seeking to join a reputable hospitality company focused on both employee welfare and exceptional guest experiences.
