Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience cooking in a restaurant
  • Strong understanding of cooking methods and procedures
  • Proficient knife handling skills
  • Ability to perform tasks with precision, speed, and attention to dish details
  • Capable of reading and following kitchen instructions
  • Organized with self-initiative
  • Knowledgeable about the menu and products
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and cook as indicated in recipes
  • Ensure timely readiness of ingredients in the workstation meeting preparation schedules for smooth delivery
  • Organize and clean the workstation according to restaurant protocol
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstation including kitchen equipment
  • Comply with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards
  • Guarantee quality and freshness of ingredients and products
  • Perform additional cleaning tasks assigned by the line supervisor, sous-chef, or executive chef
