Job Duties

  • Follow the recipes, check the portion of the recipes, the garnishes and present the dishes ordered
  • Have the correct and adequate set up in the kitchen workstation at each shift, including making orders, storing fresh, dry, frozen goods, condiments and supplies
  • Handle, store and rotate the stored products properly
  • Set up, regularly maintain, clean and ensure proper functioning of assigned equipment and machines
  • Supply stocks, cut and store perishable goods daily to maintain product quality
  • Put all utensils used during the shift in its place, clean and tidy the work place as well as storage areas including refrigerators and freezers, empty, clean and store bins
  • Practice general and specific cleanings using appropriate products as indicated by the manager to meet hygiene standards
  • Take instructions from the manager when taking office and take stock with the manager before leaving to ensure all is in order
