We are currently seeking a Line Cook to join our culinary team. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range between $15.76 and $19.07 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will play an essential role in preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items for multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events. The Line Cook will utilize a full range of classical cooking techniques to produce both small and large batch goods while adhering to standardized recipes to ensure consistent high quality.
Working in a senior living and healthcare environment, the Line Cook must maintain a high standard of sanitation and food safety according to federal, state, and local regulations as well as organizational standards. The role involves preparing food for residents with special dietary needs, handling inventory, and ensuring that all food preparation areas remain clean and safe. Candidates will be expected to participate in safety training and to follow risk management policies carefully.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of related cooking experience, possess a current Food Handler's Permit, and ideally hold a state sanitation certificate. Intermediate to advanced knife skills and experience with kitchen equipment operation are preferred. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently while delivering excellent service. The cook must be able to communicate clearly with residents and staff and show patience, compassion, and professionalism at all times.

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook to order foods for various meal periods
- operate a grill station as needed
- prepare food adhering to federal, state, and corporate food safety standards
- read and follow oral or written food orders accurately
- provide high-quality customer service
- follow standardized recipes for soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other products
- operate kitchen equipment for ingredient preparation
- taste and check food quality and production requirements
- attend food safety and allergy training
- handle inventory and prepare meals for special diets
- produce small to large batch goods using advanced cooking techniques
- take and record food temperatures and correct discrepancies
- clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
- assist with setup and break down of food service areas
- comply with safety and risk management policies
- participate in safety meetings and training programs
