The role includes a range of benefits such as a free meal every shift, two weeks of paid time off (PTO), immediate hiring, and excellent opportunities for career growth within the organization.

As a Line Cook at SSP America, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting food items according to established recipes and portion controls. Line Cooks are responsible for ensuring that kitchen stations are properly set up, maintained, and stocked throughout their shifts. Responsibilities also include requisitioning supplies, handling all products with care, and performing routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.

This role requires a hands-on approach to managing perishables, cutting, stocking, and ensuring that all items are stored correctly to preserve freshness. Line Cooks are instrumental in the smooth operation of the kitchen, completing opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as needed to guarantee efficient daily workflow. The position demands attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability for product quality, and the ability to perform various cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products to meet health regulations.

Essential skills include verbal and written communication, the ability to read, speak, and understand English for effective guest interaction and order taking, and basic mathematical ability. Candidates must also be able to work long periods standing in confined spaces, reflecting the physical demands of a kitchen environment. Brand certification may be required depending on specific locations or outlets.
