The role of the Line Cook at LongHorn Steakhouse is vital in upholding the brand's commitment to quality and flavor. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing high-quality food items to order, ensuring each dish meets the restaurant's strict standards for taste and presentation. This position requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to established recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency across all menu offerings. Line Cooks must also ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times, contributing to a safe and clean kitchen environment. This role is essential in helping get guests 'Fired Up' with the delicious meals they enjoy. Pay for this position varies by location, reflecting the local market conditions, and competitive wages are paid weekly. The work schedule is flexible, with the ability to conveniently swap shifts using the team member app, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
  • Food handler certification may be required depending on location
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
