Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a line cook or in a relevant kitchen role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in food preparation
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a line cook or relevant role 2+ years experience preferred
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods grilling baking boiling sauteeing etc
  • Ability to follow instructions or recipes accurately and efficiently
  • Understanding of food safety practices
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including chopping vegetables cutting meat and other prep as needed
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Clean up station and properly take care of any leftover food
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with food handling and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
