The current opportunity is for the position of Takeout/To Go Restaurant Line Cook, Wok Cook, or Station Chef at P.F. Chang's To Go location. This role is a vital part of the kitchen team, responsible for preparing food items according to the restaurant's established recipes and maintaining high standards for safety and sanitation. The role involves handling takeout, delivery, curbside pick-up, and catering orders, making it a fast-paced, customer-focused position. The pay range for this role is competitive, from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on experience. P.F. Chang's offers both full-time and part-time schedules, allowing flexibility for team members with different availability.
The Line Cook, Wok Cook, or Station Chef ensures all food items are prepared accurately and efficiently, maintaining the quality and presentation standards that P.F. Chang's customers expect. Duties include operating and cleaning kitchen equipment, assisting with general kitchen maintenance like dishwashing and floor cleaning, and upholding strict kitchen sanitation and safety rules. These tasks ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and that customers receive their orders promptly and correctly.
Although previous experience as a cook is not required, candidates should have a love for food, attention to detail for proper cooking measurements and weights, and the willingness to learn the menu and recipes. A current Food Handler's Card or the ability to obtain one is necessary where applicable with a commitment to following safety regulations. The role demands physical stamina, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and being comfortable with repetitive motions like bending and reaching. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential to succeeding in this position.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- Willingness to learn and follow restaurant recipes and safety guidelines
- Excellent teamwork and multitasking abilities
- Must have or be able to obtain a Food Handler's Card where required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience preferred but not required
- Current Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain where applicable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety standards
- Attention to detail with cooking measurements and food preparation
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food items to restaurant specifications
- Responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
- Assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils
- Uphold high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
- Manage to go, takeout, delivery, curbside pick-up, and catering orders efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
