This role is a full-time hourly position with a pay range of $16.80 to $20.50 per hour, offering candidates an opportunity to join a growing team focused on culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.

The Kitchen Associate will play a critical role in the daily operations of the kitchen by assisting chefs in preparing food items. This position involves hands-on use of both manual and automated kitchen equipment, weighing and mixing ingredients, and ensuring food safety protocols are strictly followed by documenting temperatures and sanitizing workspaces daily. The Kitchen Associate will also prepare specific menu items such as pizzas for take-and-bake or hot case sections and assemble to-go items like soups, salads, dips, and sandwiches. The role demands a candidate who enjoys working with food products, pays close attention to detail, and can manage multiple kitchen tasks efficiently with a positive attitude.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate knowledge of proper kitchen procedures, including knife skills, recipe adherence, and basic math for recipe adjustments. The employment also requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Harmons fosters a safe work environment where associates handle tasks involving physical effort, such as lifting up to 50 pounds and performing repetitive motions necessary for kitchen preparation. The company celebrates diversity and is committed to equal opportunity employment, ensuring an inclusive workplace for all employees regardless of background.

This Kitchen Associate position offers a unique opportunity to grow within a reputable supermarket known for prioritizing quality, community, and excellent customer service. New hires will receive training to ensure success in their role and have the ability to work in a supportive environment that values integrity, teamwork, and customer satisfaction as its core values.
