The line cook position at Cordial is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are starting or continuing their culinary career growth. The role involves working with various kitchen appliances such as grills, flat tops, ranges, and fryers. While prior cooking experience is advantageous, the position includes cross-training on multiple stations to ensure flexibility and support among team members. Employees are expected to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, with daily responsibilities that include cleaning and organizing the line. This ensures that every team member is prepared and stocked for smooth, consistent service during operational hours. Line cooks play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food that meets the chef's specifications while upholding the restaurant’s reputation. - At least 6 months of kitchen experience
- knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and knife skills
- practices proper sanitation and food handling procedures
- has a great attitude and willingness to learn and grow
- maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers
- can follow recipe specifications
- ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs

Job Duties
- Follow chef’s instructions, recipes, and prep lists
- prepare food for service
- set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- coordinate timing of orders so that items are served together
- ensure food comes out in a high quality and timely manner
- cook, plate, and garnish all menu items
- clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, etc.
- receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators and other storage areas
- sweep and mop kitchen floors
