The Line Cook position at YARD HOUSE is integral to making this vibrant atmosphere possible. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food preparation
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • basic understanding of food safety standards
  • good physical stamina
  • willingness to learn and adapt

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a line cook or in a similar food preparation role preferred
  • knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • prepare food items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
  • ensure timely delivery of food items during service
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment
  • follow food safety and hygiene regulations
  • support team members during busy periods
  • stock and replenish ingredients as needed
  • assist with inventory management
