The Line Cook position at Impact Kitchen is integral to maintaining the highest culinary standards and delivering on the promise of exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction. Line Cooks at Impact Kitchen are responsible for preparing all menu items in adherence to strict food safety standards, supporting kitchen cleanliness and maintenance, and ensuring the freshness and proper rotation of all ingredients. Collaborating closely with front-of-house team members, Line Cooks contribute directly to the seamless dining experience of guests both on-site and through take-out orders.

Job Duties

  • Preparation, production, and execution of menu items and food quality standards according to detailed recipes and instructions
  • operation and maintenance of dishwashing units and dish-cleaning areas
  • execution of custodial and cleaning duties as needed
  • receiving and storage of deliveries from the commissary kitchen and third-party suppliers
  • effective storage, management, and safe rotation (FIFO) of all products
  • cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of kitchen equipment and food production areas
  • strict adherence to company, municipal, and provincial guidelines related to food safety and workplace standards
