Tennessee National Golf Club is an exclusive, premier gated lakefront community located in Loudon, Tennessee, just minutes from Knoxville. We are currently inviting applications for the position of Line Cook at Tennessee National Golf Club. This role is an integral part of our culinary team, responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that meet the club's elevated standards. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented kitchen environment, displaying attention to detail, reliability, and a passion for culinary excellence. Compensation for this position ranges from $15 to $17 per hour, with part-time scheduling requiring weekend availability. The Line Cook reports directly to the Executive Chef and works hourly, either in full-time or part-time capacity depending on the shift assignment.
In this role, you will prepare food items as directed by the Chef or General Manager, promptly cooking orders to ensure timely delivery and consistency as dictated by standardized recipe cards. Attention to portioning, garnishing, and preparation consistency is essential to maintaining the quality expected by our club members and guests. The Line Cook will also play a key role in managing food costs by delivering excellent product quality while ensuring efficient use of ingredients. Responsibilities extend beyond food preparation to include receiving and inspecting deliveries, maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols, and completing opening and closing tasks as outlined by management.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a cook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- Very good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as cook
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
Job Duties
- Comply with written standardized food recipes and beverages to ensure the production of consistent quality and portion control, i.e. sizes of portions, methods of preparation, cooking, garnishing of foods, and sees that the food is prepared as ordered
- Receives and checks food and supplies into the kitchen and storerooms i.e. inspect condition of contents, checks against invoices & orders, and freshness of product
- Stores new and reuse products in proper temperatures and proper wrappings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas as instructed by the Chef or General Manager
- Complete opening and closing checklists as outlined by the Chef or General Manager
- Protect the assets of the Club
- Operate within the guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as established by Hampton Golf
- Maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
- Assist with other duties as needed
