Job Description

The Rib & Chop House is a distinguished restaurant known for its premium steaks, fresh seafood, and award-winning baby back ribs, all served with a welcoming and warm style known as Rocky Mountain Hospitality. Established in 2001 and proudly owned and operated by Finally Restaurant Group in Bozeman, Montana, The Rib & Chop House has expanded from a single location to a growing collection of restaurants throughout the United States. This growth is driven by a straightforward commitment to combining exceptional food and service with the friendly spirit of the mountain towns they serve. The restaurant is dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences and raising the standard in every community it operates within. It fosters an environment where loyalty, safety, and service excellence are paramount, ensuring both guests and employees have a thriving and rewarding experience.

Joining The Rib & Chop House means becoming part of a team that upholds these principles and a work culture that embraces high standards alongside a casual, inviting atmosphere. The role of a Line Cook at this establishment is critical to maintaining the quality and efficiency that the restaurant is known for. A successful candidate will be highly skilled in the art of culinary production, capable of managing high-volume food preparation without compromising the quality, appearance, or timing of dishes. Precision and efficiency are key as the Line Cook must deliver plates that meet exact specifications in a timely manner, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

The Line Cook position demands a genuine and thoughtful approach to executing brand standards, especially within a busy steakhouse environment. Teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude are as essential as culinary skills for this role. While experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, providing opportunities for passionate individuals to grow within the company. Physical ability is also important, including the capacity to lift and carry up to 35 lbs unassisted, stand and move around for most of the shift, and operate small kitchen tools safely and effectively. The work schedule typically involves shifts lasting 8 to 10 hours, with flexible scheduling options available and a minimum two-shift commitment.

This position offers an inclusive and supportive work culture based on Rocky Mountain Hospitality, with access to health, dental, vision, and ADA insurance. Employees also benefit from pathways to advancement opportunities within the company. The environment encourages a fun, problem-solving attitude and a passion for food, aiming to uphold The Rib & Chop House's reputation for excellence in every dish served. The restaurant is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values diversity and inclusion, ensuring fair hiring practices without discrimination based on race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship status, ancestry, age, marital or veteran status, physical or mental disability, arrest record, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic under federal, state, or local laws.
