The role of Line Cook at Madame Tussauds Hollywood is a dynamic and integral part of the food service team. This position demands a proactive and skilled professional who will support the Sous Chef by leading, training, and inspiring the kitchen crew to maintain seamless kitchen operations. Line Cooks are responsible for enhancing kitchen efficiency by optimizing workflow and preparation, ensuring that each station performs like a well-oiled machine, contributing to the smooth delivery of high-quality food. The Line Cook's duties extend beyond cooking to include maintaining stringent cleanliness and adherence to Merlin Food Safety standards, proper use of kitchen equipment, food storage management, and compliance with health and safety regulations including OSHA, HACCP, and Environmental Health standards.

Job Requirements

- 3 to 4 years of real kitchen experience
- Solid culinary knowledge and food design skills

Job Duties
- Support the Sous Chef by leading, training, and inspiring the kitchen crew while keeping operations running smoothly
- Boost kitchen efficiency by optimizing workflow and prep to ensure every station runs smoothly
- Deliver top-tier food quality by following recipes, SOPs, and presentation standards to maintain consistency and excellence
- Keep the kitchen spotless by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety guidelines
- Protect the kitchen by using equipment properly, monitoring food storage and rotation, and promptly reporting issues
- Champion safety and compliance with OSHA, HACCP, Environmental Health, and company policies by identifying hazards and speaking up
- Be a team player by attending meetings, assisting with Sous Chef projects, minimizing waste, and contributing to a positive workplace environment
